Damage Type is the nature of the Wound, being either slashing, piercing, bludgeoning, or generic.

Contents

Slashing

A slashing wound is a wound delivered by chopping, or drawing a Weapon across, a victim. It usually brings with it a good amount of Pain and Blood Loss, though often just a bit less than a piercing wound.

Piercing

A piercing wound is a wound delivered by stabbing, or swinging a weapon with a spike on it at, a victim. This is often one of the most deadly types of wounds as the damage often goes deeper than that of a slashing or bludgeoning wound. It usually brings with it a good amount of Pain and Blood Loss, but caries the least Shock. It is also a bit more difficult to Heal from.

Bludgeoning

A Bludgeoning wound is a wound delivered through blunt impact on a victim. This type is most commonly due to brawling, but can come from a blunt weapon. It has little or no Blood Loss (except in the most brutal of wounds) but its Shock is usually a bit higher than most other wounds and it often has the effect of knocking out or knocking down the opponent. It is also a bit easier to Heal from.

Generic

A generic wound is usually a wound caused by some force or Magic. An example would be electricity damage, fire damage, acid damage, and so on.
